• Take a "How to Start A Small Business" seminar available in your community.
• Do your research and write your Business Plan!  Much of the information you need is available at

• Check with your local government (city, township, village) about available tax incentives/breaks, Downtown
      Development Funding, zoning issues, available space.
• Set up your own FREE on hour counseling session with either a SCORE ( Counselors to America's Small
      Business) or SBTDC (Small Business Technology & Development Center) Counselor.  Call one of the numbers
      below.
• Attend one of the more intense Entrepreneur training sessions available in your area (FasTrac, Entrenpreneur
      Boot Camp).  Check with your local community college.
• Take business classes at a community college:  Montcalm Community Collge or Mid-Michigan College.
